CABINET SECRETARY OF SPORTS, CULTURE AND THE ARTS VISITS JAPAN

Dr. Hassan Wario Arero (PhD), Cabinet Secretary of the Ministry of Sports, Culture and The Arts Kenya visited Japan from 18th to 23rd October, 2016 to attend the World Forun on Sport and Culture. The forum which was organized by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology attracted World Sports Ministers and was addressed by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Mr. Thomas Bach, President of International Olympic Committee (IOC) and Hon. Yoshiro Mori, President of Tokyo Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and others. During the visit, Dr. Wario held extensive discussions including the bilateral meeting with Hon. Hirokazu Matsuno, Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Hon. Yoshiro Mori, Mrs. Sachiko Yamano, President of Japan International Cooperation Center among others.

Dr. H. Wario holding discussions with Hon. Yoshiro Mori. Discussions centered on Kenya's participation at the 2020 Olympic and the organization of the Olympics.
