KENYA DEPLOYS ITS FIRST SATELLITE INTO ORBIT ON 11TH MAY, 2018

Kenya’s Delegation led by C.S. Dr. Amina C. Mohamed, EGH, CAV and memers of the delegation witnessed the Deployment of 1 KUNS-PF (First Kenyan University NanoSatellite-Precursor Flight) from the International Space Station at 19:30hrs (Japan Time) on 11th May, 2018. This momentous occasion was observed from the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) Mission Control Room.

Dr. Vijoo Rattansi, Chancellor of Nairobi Univesity hold a Deployment Certificate. She is flanked by Amb. Dr. Amina Mohamed, C.S. Ministry of Education, P.S. Prof. Ntiba, H.E. Amb. S.K. Maina, MBS and other members of the Delegation.
