IMA NO AFRICA (AFRICA NOW), THE 1ST ADC ORGANIZED AFRICAN CULTURAL, TOURISM AND BUSINESS FAIR ON 16TH AND 17TH JUNE 2018 AT HIBIYA PARK, TOKYO

African Diplomatic Corps organized its First ever African Cultural, Tourism and Business Fair from 16th - 17th June 2018 at Hibiya Park, Tokyo, under the Chairmanship of H.E. Mr. S.K. Maina, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kenya. Kenya is the Chair of the Media, Tourism and culture Committee of the ADC.

The Guest of Honour was Hon. Taro Kono, Minister for Foreign Affairs who was accompanied by Mr. Katsunori Watanabe, Deputy Mayor of Yokohama City (venue of TICAD 7 in 2019)

The two day event attracted over 20,000 people from Japan including top Japanese Government officials, and Business Community as well African Diaspora. The ADC held this Event to project the positiveness of Africa, a continent full of exciting opportunities, creative, vibrant with fast spreading energy.
