The Embassy in conjunction with Yomiuri NTV Culture Center Jiyugaoka held a Culture and Tea Seminar on 12th October, 2018 at the Chancery from 2p.m. to 4p.m. The seminar was aimed at creating awareness about Kenyan culture and tourism. Yomiuri NTV Culture Center is in logistical business and has been offering variety of educational information to its clients since 1985.

The seminar started off with welcome remarks and introduction of Kenya by Mrs. Lucy Njihia for 20 minutes. It was followed by tourism lecture conducted by Mr. Naokuni Kato who is a Kenyan professional tour guide. Lastly the visitors were taken through tea making lesson by Ms. Masako Oshima.

The visitors were served with Kenyan tea provided by the Embassy and snacks from Masyuko’s Buffalo Café which serves Kenyan cuisine. They were also gifted with Kenyan tea to take away.
