The Jot Tourist Corporation, on 25th October, 2019, hosted a pre-departure seminar for representatives of thirty companies who are members of SHATAI KYOWA –KAI association at Hotel Crown Palais Chiryu, Nagoya. The Association comprises of Japanese Auto Parts Companies that supply Auto body parts to the Toyota group. The Association will be on a business Mission to Kenya in November, 2019. The Mission was represented by Mr. Paul Kaliih, Deputy Head of Mission, who made a presentation on status of Automobile Industry and prevailing economic situation in Kenya. During the Seminar, the coordinator of the business trip intimated that Toyota Hi-ace vans will be assembled in Mombasa, Kenya from August, 2020 and most companies represented in the business trip will be opening business operations in the Kenya SEZ in Dongo Kundu, Mombasa upon its completion targeting the lucrative regional Market.
