Four Leading Kenyan Cardioligist Doctors from Kenyatta National Hospital, Nairobi, from 21st -25th October, 2019, participated in a one- week PTMC training on the use of Inoue Baloon Catheter at Kyoto University Hospital. The Catheter is used for treatment of patients suffering from Heart diseases without having to undergo complicated and expensive Heart Sugeries. The training program was organised and sponsored by JICA in collaboration with Toray Medical Company of Japan. During the closing ceremony, the Mission was represented by Mr. Paul Kaliih, Deputy Head of Mission and Trade Assistant, Ms.Naoko Yagi. Prof. Kanji Inoue, the inventer of the Catheter, congratulated the Kenyan doctors for their successful participation in the program and intimated that he will carry out a follow up training program at Kenyatta National Hospital, Nairobi in December, 2019, accompanied by a team of senior Japanese Medics.
