Mr. Festus M. Wangwe Today, 12th December 2020 being the 57th Anniversary of the Republic of Kenya’s independence, the Embassy of the Republic of Kenya in Japan is delighted to invite all our friends and indeed everyone residing in Japan to join us wherever they are in celebrating this very important day. We celebrate this day to remember the hard-earned freedom, that saw all Kenyans once more, a free people and in control of their destiny. On this auspicious occasion, I wish to, on behalf of the Government and the people of Kenya residing in Japan, convey warm greetings and best wishes to Their Majesties Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako, H.E. Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga, the government and friendly people of Japan. To all Kenyans residing in Japan, I say to you “Happy Jamhuri Day” and let us all keep safe.
