Mr. Festus M. Wangwe, Charge d'Affaires a. i. attended the presentation ceremony of Host Town Frame Memorial Stamp by JAPAN POST Co., Ltd. at Meguro City Office together with H.W. Mr. Eiji Aoki, Mayor of Meguro city on 16th March 2021.
Kenya Embassy and Meguro city signed Memorandum of Understanding to establish a framework for friendship and cultural exchange between citizens of Kenya and Meguro City residents on 7th November 2017 and this stamp was issued to commemorate our friendship.
During the ceremony, the Charge d'Affaires a. i. assured Meguro City of Kenya’s mutual collaboration even beyond the games.
The frame stamp launched sale on 15th March 2021 and can be purchased at the post offices in Meguro or through online.
