H.E. Amb. Tabu Irina and members of staff of the Kenya Embassy Tokyo welcoming the members of Rugby Sevens Shujaa and accompanying officials to Kurume City, Japan
On 16th July 2021, H.E. Amb. Tabu Irina, MBS and Embassy staff held the second virtual meet and greet with team members of Rugby Sevens Shujaa and accompanying officials led by Deputy Chef de Mission Mr. Shoaib Vayani.
The Rugby Sevens Shujaa arrived in Kurume City on 11th and 12th July 2021 for pre-games training for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympics. H.E. the Ambassador welcomed the team and assured full support for the Team Kenya. Mr. Andrew Amonde, the captain of Shujaa and also Team Kenya’s overall captain at the Tokyo Olympics thanked the host city for their gracious support and hospitality.
H.E. the Ambassador and Embassy staff lauded Team Kenya and sent best wishes at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympics.
